Tradewinds Leadership is a collaborative effort between founders Stephen Dummit and Olivia Leigh.

We understand the nature of high-pressure work, which uniquely positions us to help organizations tackle the challenges these environments bring with tailored leadership and resilience strategies.

 

Stephen's father was an electrical contractor for more than 35 years, and Olivia's father has been an excavating contractor for nearly 40 years. Stephen owned and operated the family business, working on demanding commercial projects like critical load installations of MRI machines at hospitals. Olivia has worked across multiple industries, from agriculture to trade associations to regulatory compliance to tax calculation technology. These experiences exposed us to the unique challenges faced by businesses operating in demanding, fast-paced environments, such as managing tight deadlines, maintaining safety under pressure, and fostering team cohesion amidst high stakes.

 

Over the years, we witnessed firsthand how the dynamics of high-pressure work environments can test resilience, strain communication, and impact overall performance. This perspective inspired us to address the critical gap between technical expertise and the human skills required to navigate these challenges effectively.
